Orange-glazed Chicken Noodle Bowl

Try a new twist on orange chicken with our orange-glazed chicken noodle bowl. Our boneless skinless chicken thighs are the star of this dish cooked with a fresh and flavorful orange glaze. Serve with soba noodles and green beans for delicious dinner.
INGREDIENTS
Chicken & Orange Glaze

1 pack Farmer Focus boneless skinless chicken thighs

½ cup orange juice (fresh or bottled)

1 Tbsp orange zest

1 Tbsp soy sauce
-
1 Tbsp honey
-
1 tsp grated ginger
-
1 clove garlic, minced
-
1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (combine to make a slurry)

Salt and pepper to taste

1 Tbsp olive oil
Soba Noodles
-
8 oz soba noodles
-
1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil
-
1 tsp soy sauce
-
1 tsp rice vinegar
Green Beans
-
8 oz green beans, trimmed

1 Tbsp sesame oil
-
1 tsp sesame seeds
-
Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
Make the chicken & Orange Glaze
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 4–5 min per side until browned and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same pan, add orange juice, zest, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened. Return chicken to pan and coat in glaze.
Make the Soba Noodles
- Cook soba noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
- Toss with sesame oil, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.
Make the Green Beans
- Toss green beans with sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
- Roast at 425°F for 15–18 minutes until tender and slightly crisp. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Plate and Enjoy!
- Arrange soba noodles in bowl base.
- Add glazed chicken and roasted green beans.
- Spoon extra glaze over chicken.
- Optional garnish: chopped green onion or additional sesame seeds.
