Orange-glazed Chicken Noodle Bowl

Serves: up to 4 | Cooking time: 30 minutes

Try a new twist on orange chicken with our orange-glazed chicken noodle bowl. Our boneless skinless chicken thighs are the star of this dish cooked with a fresh and flavorful orange glaze. Serve with soba noodles and green beans for delicious dinner.

INGREDIENTS

Chicken & Orange Glaze

  • 1 pack Farmer Focus boneless skinless chicken thighs

  • ½ cup orange juice (fresh or bottled)

  • 1 Tbsp orange zest

  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce

  • 1 Tbsp honey

  • 1 tsp grated ginger

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water (combine to make a slurry)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil

Soba Noodles

  • 8 oz soba noodles

  • 1 Tbsp toasted sesame oil

  • 1 tsp soy sauce

  • 1 tsp rice vinegar

Green Beans

  • 8 oz green beans, trimmed

  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil

  • 1 tsp sesame seeds

  • Salt and pepper to taste


INSTRUCTIONS

Make the chicken & Orange Glaze

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 4–5 min per side until browned and cooked through (internal temp 165°F).
  3. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same pan, add orange juice, zest, soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic. Simmer for 3–4 minutes.
  4. Stir in cornstarch slurry and cook until thickened. Return chicken to pan and coat in glaze.

Make the Soba Noodles

  1. Cook soba noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. Toss with sesame oil, soy sauce, and rice vinegar.

Make the Green Beans

  1. Toss green beans with sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
  2. Roast at 425°F for 15–18 minutes until tender and slightly crisp. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Plate and Enjoy!

  1. Arrange soba noodles in bowl base.
  2. Add glazed chicken and roasted green beans.
  3. Spoon extra glaze over chicken.
  4. Optional garnish: chopped green onion or additional sesame seeds.
