Preheat the oven to 350°F. Using an oven-safe dish/pan, place the chicken thighs on it. Once the oven is preheated, bake your chicken for 26 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165°F.
Start medium-high heat on your pan and sear each side of the chicken for 3 minutes. Lower heat to medium, then cover the pan with a lid. Cook for 12 minutes on each side. Increase the heat again and sear the skin side one last time for about 2 minutes. Check to make sure the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165°F.
Preheat the grill to 450°F; this usually takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Flipping it half-way through, grill chicken for 17 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165°F.
