About the farmer…
Ben Smelser operates Ben Smelser Farm with help from his brother Robbie. Ben is excited to work with Farmer Focus because of the high focus and standards of animal welfare and that it provides a healthy option for consumers. Ben is a fourth-generation farmer and learned the most about farming from his grandfather and father, including the responsibility that comes with farming. In addition to raising chickens, Ben also has horses and grows mums and pumpkins for the fall. Ben is proud to provide consumers with high-quality chicken that is raised humanely.
